The Cheesiest Baked Mac and Cheese!

This delicious dish will serve at least 10 people. The title says it all, the “Cheesiest Baked Mac and Cheese. The recipe contains 8 different kinds of cheese. You will need a large baking pan; the approximate size is 16″ x 11”. Cooking preparations are estimated for 1 hr. and 30 mins.  Please note that there are so many different ways to make this famous dish. Some people certainly will not add so many cheeses, while others can squeeze up to 10 or more types. It’s all about preferences.

Ingredients:

  • Cheese– Buy in blocks or already shredded.
  1. Extra Sharp Cheddar
  2. Mild Cheddar
  3. Mozzarella
  4. Colby Jack Cheese
  5. Monterey Jack
  6. Parmesan Cheese
  7. Asiago cheese
  8. Crumbled Blue Cheese

Combine- all your cheeses in a large mixing bowl. This will ensure even distribution.

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic Salt
  • (Add spices to the cheese mix to taste)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of half-and-half
  • (Mix the eggs and milk)

Pasta-In a large cooking pot, boil your pasta as directed on the box. Once the pasta is cooked, drain the water, and place the pasta in the baking pan.

Add Ingredients Slowly- Add the cheese carefully to small sections of the pan, while mixing through the pasta. Next, slowly add the half-and-half egg mix. Note, if the pasta mix seems a little dry making the cheese difficult to distribute throughout, just slowly add a little more milk to the dry area. once mixing is complete, sprinkle a little cheese on the top, then add parsley for color. There is no need to worry if there is cheese left over from your bowl. You can always use the extra to make cheese biscuits.

Oven Settings– Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees (F)

Cooking Time– Make sure the pan is covered and carefully place it in the oven. Bake for at least 40 minutes before checking progress. Remove the covering and place it back in the oven for 10 more minutes. Carefully remove the pan from the oven, place it on a cooking pad, and let it cool.
